Immigration.BG is written and checked by the advocates of Advocate Markov law firm. We are a Bulgarian firm that started in one small room in Plovdiv and grew by doing one thing well: telling clients the truth about their case, and the price, from the first day.

Where we come from

Advocate Vasil Markov began his career at the Ministry of Interior. He left the Ministry early, and that decision opened the way to the legal profession. It also left him with something most lawyers never get: an inside understanding of how the immigration authorities think and work.

The firm started as a tiny one-room office just opposite the court building in Plovdiv. Later, Advocate Vasil Markov received a recognition from the District Court for his work. From that room, the firm grew into a leader in immigration services in Bulgaria, and opened a second office in Sofia, next to the Presidency building.

Immigration at the core

Advocate Vasil Markov has worked in different practice areas and on many projects, but immigration and citizenship have always been at the core of his career and his business. In 2012 he launched immigration2bulgaria.com, the first immigration platform in Bulgaria, followed in 2014 by bulgarian-citizenship.com. Through them he gained the kind of experience most lawyers can only dream about.

We introduced package pricing

Some 17 years ago, our team was the first to introduce package pricing in Bulgaria. While others were booking legal hours to bill a client, we fixed the effort and the cost in one package price. Every client knows from the start what the case will cost. No surprises, and no disappointments.

That simple idea played a key role in the early growth of the firm, and we still work this way today.

Today, next to our package prices, you can choose between two options:

• A 15-minute paid callAn advocate explains how to do it yourself. Sometimes 5 minutes are enough
• The full packageWe do everything for you, and the fee for the call is deducted from the package price

Either way, there are no middlemen: we are the end service provider.

What we mean by guaranteed

From the start, we have stood behind what we offer. The word guaranteed is sometimes misunderstood, so here is what we mean by it.

That is the difference from taking on a client while knowing the case is already lost. We would rather lose a client than take money for a case we do not believe in.

More than a law firm

We keep adding new platforms and new services. On top of the legal practice, we launched our own fund management company, which manages the first fund compliant with the Bulgaria Golden Visa. Running a fund added even more expertise to the team, and an even deeper network.

A law firm first

At our core, we are a law firm. Immigration and citizenship are what we are best known for, but we do not stop there. We handle virtually any legal service you may need in Bulgaria, from company formation and contracts to property, tax and disputes. Many clients who come to us for a residence permit stay with us for everything that follows.

Get it right the first time

Knowing the law is one thing. Practising it every day is what makes you strong in this field. A Visa D, a residence permit or a citizenship application is something you usually do once, and if it succeeds you will not need to think about it again. Residence is renewed, but the start is what matters.

You can experiment and take the risk yourself. Or you can rely on a team that has already handled thousands of applications and knows how to do it the right way, at the right price, the first time.

Ordinary people, serious work

We are not a faceless agency. We are a team of Bulgarian advocates and staff who answer the phone, reply on WhatsApp and sit with clients at the Migration Office. Behind every application there is a person, a family and a plan, and we treat it that way.
